1V-LSD
1V-LSD 225mcg Art Blotters

Although research on the effects of 1V-LSD remains sparse, initial observations indicate that it may produce more intense visual experiences compared to LSD-25 and its related compounds. Additionally, it is widely believed that 1V-LSD has a longer onset time than many other lysergamides, typically ranging from 2 to 3 hours.

What is 1V-LSD?

Introducing 1V-LSD (1-valeroyl-lysergic acid diethylamide hemi-L-tartrate), affectionately referred to as “Valerie.”

Similar to 1P-LSD and 1cP-LSD, 1V-LSD is classified as a Lysergamide prodrug that is derived from an Ergoline framework. This means it is likely to exhibit many of the same characteristics as LSD-25 in a laboratory context and probably operates through a comparable mechanism of action. Essentially, a prodrug is an inactive substance that becomes active after ingestion due to metabolic processes.

What Effects Can Be Expected from 1V-LSD?

Although it is still early in the exploration of 1V-LSD, preliminary findings indicate effects that are quite similar to those of LSD and 1cP-LSD. However, several notable distinctions appear to set 1V-LSD apart from other lysergamides.

The primary differences identified so far include:

  • Extended onset – The effects of 1V-LSD seem to take approximately 2-3 hours to fully manifest, in contrast to the 1-2 hours (or even less) typically observed with 1cP-LSD and LSD-25.
  • Enhanced visual experiences – Many researchers have noted that 1V-LSD tends to produce more vivid visual effects at lower or comparable doses compared to other lysergamides.
  • Nausea – A noticeable number of researchers report experiencing nausea (sometimes leading to vomiting) more frequently than with other lysergamides.

What accounts for these varying effects? The most likely explanation appears to be the greater molecular weight of 1V-LSD compared to other LSD-25 derivatives (and LSD itself, which has the lowest molar mass among lysergamides). This difference may influence how the body metabolizes the substance, making it more challenging for the stomach's enzymes to break it down, resulting in a longer onset.

Interestingly, despite the relatively common reports of nausea, nearly all researchers still regard their overall experiences with 1V-LSD as positive.

Current testing indicates that a dose of 225mcg of 1V-LSD is roughly equivalent to 187.5mcg of 1cP-LSD, so please adjust your research parameters accordingly.
